Live Blackjack

Hold your nerve against the dealer for your chance to win. Live Blackjack offers excitement in real time and comes with two nifty side bet options.

    About the Live Blackjack Game

Go head-to-head with the game host for the chance to win at Live Blackjack.

Two side bets – Perfect Pairs and 21+3 are available to make things even more interesting.

Your aim is to receive a hand that adds to 21 (blackjack if it’s with your first two cards) or as close to it as possible. Anything greater than 21 is a bust.

    How to Play

Seven players can take part at one time, but you only ever play against the dealer.

The game uses eight standard decks, made up of 52 cards.

Once the timer runs out, everyone receives one card facing up. The dealer then receives their first card.

Everyone gets a second card, which is also facing up. The dealer gets their second card afterwards, but this is dealt face down.

You’ll see the sum of your first two cards next to your hand.

    Card Values

For this game, the cards are valued like so:

    • Cards 2-10 are worth their face value
    • Face cards are worth 10
    • Aces are worth 1 or 11, whichever works better for your hand

    Blackjack

The best hand to get is a blackjack.

This is when your first two cards are added together to make 21, e.g. an Ace and a 10 or an Ace and a face card.

    Bet Options

There are three betting options available to you in Live Blackjack. These are:

Insurance – available to you if the dealer’s face-up card is an Ace. Essentially, you’re betting that the dealer has a blackjack, and you want to protect your bet.

Double Down – double your original bet and receive one more card

Split – split your first two cards, if they’re the same value, to create two separate hands

    Side Bets

    Perfect Pairs

With the Perfect Pairs side bet, you can land a prize if your initial hand contains the following:

Mixed Pair – a pair of different suits

Colored Pair – a pair of different suits of the same color

Perfect Pair – a pair from the same suit

The payout is different for each kind of pair:

    Hand
    Payout
    Mixed Pair6/1
    Colored Pair12/1
    Perfect Pair25/1

    21+3

If you choose to play with the 21+3 side bet, you can win with your initial hand if, with the dealer’s face-up card, forms one of these hands:

Flush – cards all the same suit

Straight - sequential cards of different suits

Three of a Kind - same card values buts different suits

Straight Flush - sequential cards of the same suit

Suited Trips - an identical triplet

Again, different hands mean different payouts:

    Hand
    Payout
    Flush5/1
    Straight10/1
    Three of a Kind30/1
    Straight Flush40/1
    Suited Trips100/1

    Bet Behind

Wager on and share the outcome of another player’s hand with Bet Behind.

    Hot Player

Look for the Hot Player icon to find out which player has the longest winning streak. You’ll see a number within a gold medal, which is the number of consecutive rounds they’ve won so far.
