How to Play Baccarat - Online Casino Game

The aim of Baccarat is to bet on the outcome of a game between the player and the banker - the hand that totals closest to 9 will win.

You will have the option to bet on the player, on the banker, on a tie, or on any combination of those three options.

Values of the Cards

In Baccarat the cards are valued as follows:

- 10, Jack, Queen and King are all valued at 0.

-2-9 are valued at the number shown on the card.

- Aces are valued at 1.

If the sum of the two cards is higher than 10 then only the second digit is considered - as an example 18 would be considered 8.

This means that scores of 10 or 20 are both considered as 0.

How to Bet

Select Chip Size - the chip sizes available in Baccarat are £1, £5, £25, £100, and £500. Select a chip size by clicking on one of the chips on the game screen.

Placing Bets - place a bet by clicking on a chip and then clicking within a bet box.

Removing Bets - To remove the last chip you placed click 'undo.'

Clear Bets - To remove all the bets from the table click on 'clear bets.'

Deal - Clicking 'Deal' starts the game.

Rebet - to repeat your bet from the previous game click 'rebet.'

How the cards are dealt

The player and the banker are each given two cards at the start of the game.

If either of the hands totals eight or nine then it is a 'natural' hand and both hands automatically stand.

If the sum of a player's hand is five or less, the player is given another card.

If the player does not draw a third cards, the bank will stand on any score of six or above.

Payouts

Bet - Payout

Bet on player and player wins - 1:1

Bet on Banker and Banker wins - 1:1 (minus 5% commission)

Bet on ta tie and a tie wins - 8:1

Minimum/Maximum Bets

- Minimum bet on Player and Banker = £1

- Maximum bet on Player and Banker = £500

- Minimum bet on a tie = £1

- Maximum bet on a tie = £100

Return To Player (RTP)

Return To Player: 98.94%.

The expected return is the amount we pay out to players relative to the amount of wagering on the game.

For example, if we take £100 of wagers we will, on average, pay out £98.94 of wins.

This return is based on the player making the best choices.
